Community Activities
On Friday 5th September, F Curtis & Son hosted a warm and welcoming charity day in support of Alzheimer’s Support at The Old Silk Works. From 11am to 3pm, the team invited the local community to join them for tea, coffee, cake—and a chance to make a meaningful difference.
Guests enjoyed a delicious spread of homemade bakes and hot drinks, while taking part in a lively raffle with some fantastic prizes. The atmosphere was full of kindness and connection, with every donation going directly to support the vital work of The Old Silk Works, a day club offering care and companionship to those living with dementia.
